Welcome to the homepage of the Philadelphia Belles Girls' Basketball Club., the nation's first girl's hoops website. The Belles is a non-profit organization chartered in 1978. The team is based in Philadelphia, PA. The Club has age-group teams which compete in the AAU, US Junior Nationals and EGBA Tournaments. Since 1978 over 775 players have received College Scholarships. The Philadelphia Belles is the exclusive and only Mid-Atlantic regional travel team sponsored by Nike.

Trina Patterson is entering her third season as head coach of the women’s basketball program at the University at Albany and her twelfth overall at the collegiate level. During Patterson’s two years at the helm, the UAlbany program has made significant strides and become more prominent in America East play.

Russell Sage Gators

Last year, a 3-18 season wasn’t what first-year head coach Kelly Thompson had in mind for the Russell Sage College women’s basketball team.
“No coach or player likes to lose 18 games in a season, but last year we were very focused on establishing a good foundation for building a strong program. I think we were successful in doing that, and I believe we will take a step in the right direction this year,” said Thompson.
